The WonderWorks museum in Pigeon Forge is unique inside and out. The building itself will catch your eye because it resembles an upside down house. Inside, you’ll love the combination of education and entertainment. Starting with the Wonder Zones, these are 6 themed areas that have their own interactive activities. See what it’s like to be an astronaut as you step into a space suit in the Space Discovery Zone. You can also lie on a bed of nails in the Physical Challenge Zone. In addition to the Wonder Zones, WonderWorks is also home to the world’s largest indoor ropes course as well as a laser tag arena and 4D Motion Theater. There are a lot of choices! Whatever you choose to do, it will be a great time.

2. Titanic Museum

This museum’s goal is to bring history to life! At the beginning of their visit, each visitor will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger. Each exhibit covers a different aspect of Titanic history. For example, experience the grandeur of the ship as you stroll down a replica of the Grand Staircase. On the other hand, learn more about the ship’s sinking as you attempt to maintain your balance on a sinking stern and sit in an actual-size lifeboat. In addition to the interactive activities, visitors can also see over 400 historic artifacts from the Titanic. Additionally, check out the Memorial Room to discover the fate of the passenger on your boarding pass.

3. The Alcatraz East Crime Museum

If you’re a fan of true crime, you’ll definitely want to check out the Alcatraz East Crime Museum. It is named after the famous military fort and maximum security prison in California. Inside, visitors can go through the interactive exhibits and learn about the history of crime in the United States. There are many different aspects to choose from. For example, see the evolution of crimes as you practice your shooting skills in a Wild West setting and hack into a fictional website. Additionally, learn about the different forensic techniques used to solve a crime in another exhibit, such as fingerprinting and facial reconstruction. You can even see them in action as you solve a murder in a lifelike crime scene. While you’re at this exhibit, you can also learn more about autopsies and read up on some of America’s cold cases. Other highlights of the Alcatraz East Crime Museum include an Artifacts Center where you’ll find belongings from some of America’s most infamous criminals like Ted Bundy! There is also a crime fighting exhibit that features a High-Speed Police Chase simulator!
